You create your own stations by entering artists or song names & then it guesses (surprisingly well) at other songs you'll like. It adapts based on your input but you can also just skip any songs you don't like. You can share your stations w/ your friends or the whole world. Read about the bands you like & find ones that are similiar. Of course you do! So put it up & get actual ratings & feedback. Of course, the "free account" for musicans let's you list bio information and photos. You've got to pay to submit a song, but it just might be worth it for you. Depends how good you think you are. If you pay up, you get aguaranteed a minimum of 200 spins on AIU’s online radio network and artists get profile pages, unlimited on-demand plays of their music, the ability to sell their music online and other resources that help them gain exposure. If you really just that good & get the high ratings, your songs get more airplay and the best songs from each genre win cash, equipment, artist promotion packages and other awards. Presumbly that means you'll be making some sales too. My advice would be to check it out first ~ listen & get a sense of how the ratings are playing out & whether you think you can make sales b4 shelling out the $. It's good advice, but truth be told I'd probably jump right in b/c I just love ratings & feedback on any I do ( hint, hint :) ) If you do go the sensible route join free as a 'music fan' then you can listen to & rate the songs. You might get lucky & win a prize b/c the more a user listens and rates songs, the better their chances to win prizes.
