I somehow get myself bogged down in mailing lists no matter how email addresses I create... anyway, I just read an email from Taking Back Sunday and it told me to be sure to check out their friends My Chemical Romance. It seems like a pretty far out there friendship give their respective genres and general focus but I guess its like people, one of my best friends is my polar opposite & we promote each other all the time :) (feeling a little upbeat today, otherwise the cynic in me would be screeching something to the effect of "labels make us pretend to be friends much.").

My blog entry about the Thousand Foot Krutch Concert I went to last Friday is a little long but worth the read. Some teasers - Mr. Chatterbox, the booth as my nemesis, & me pitching myself out of said booth in a football-like maneuver, landing directly on the feet of the owner of the bar!

Begining to apprecriate, rather then dread Dreamweaver and am even somewhat looking forward to the fiasco I am sure to create as I teach myself Macromedia Fireworks and Flash. It seems whenever I use a non-Microsoft products I get extremely frustrated, at first, because they are always so much more capable and user-friendly but I am still used to jumping through the idiotically complicated hoops that Microsoft so loves to force upon us in an ironic attempt to idiot-proof its products. I just have to keep on reminding myself that Lotus left Outlook in its dust & Firefox far exceeds Explorer & more importantly I eventually learned to love them both.
