Currently, I have posted some of my poems, pictures of me, my family and my friends, pictures of interesting things and places, my artwork, other people's artwork, and some of my computer created images.

I have also put together a list of links to some standout sites on the following topics ~ music, media, psychology/health, philosophy, meeting people, diversions, technology, & misc -- most come complete with a description & mini review.

Musically Inclined

 

Quite obviously this is a page devoted to music because a Little Salty is Musically Inclined despite being somewhat tone-deaf & always off-key (hell, I don't even know what a key is but I do know that alternative music got me through the rough times & keeps me going so I spend a lot of time maintaining & adding to this page).

My very first update was to add links to the snarky references I had made throughout my "Under Construction" page (now archived for posterity). I have since realized that maybe 3 people in the whole wide world would have gotten those references sans links and I am pretty sure that I have already forgotten some.

Anyway, since it is no fun being clever if no-one is able to appreciate it, I added links to the lyrics and concepts that I was referencing. One overall reference deserves mentioning on this page because I am just a, little tired of hearing that it "sounds crazy." The entire text of the "Under Construction" page was loosely based on the song "They Are Coming to Take Me Away he-he ha-ha-ho-ho" so it was supposed to sound a little loony!

Please visit my store on half.com by Ebay if you are looking for books, CDs, &/or movies. I'm selling quite an eclectic mix at ridiculously low prices because I need the space they are taking up in my room!

On the music pages music pages, I've put up dynamic links that show items related to the band you are checking out. You might find some interesting items that you wouldn't thought about about on those pages.

I've also got affiliate links on most pages. All relate to the each pages content, but I'm still experimenting w/ making them more dynamic & relevant. Bit of a challenge b/c I'm sort of a privacy freak so I won't invade yours by using personal tracking cookies so I'm slowly but surely learning by trial & error what you guys are interested in buying.

I'm not an affiliate wh*re, I'm almost as picky about my affiliates as I am about my friends. I've vetted the companies I affiliate with to make sure they are legit & won't rip you off. I say almost b/c I'm still affiliated w/ Amazon & they're far from being a good friend but they do have an amazing selection at great prices. I'm willing to suck it up to offer those to you guys. Ok, & I'm also pragmatic. They've got the goods & make it really easy for me to create the links so cost/benefit analysis is clear - the $ I might make far outweigh my hurt feelings (see below) & the affiliate program is distinct so I can rationalize putting aside my issues w/ their draconian seller's program.

Used to have an Amazon store but in a Nazi like maneuver they took it away from me, will not tell me why because their "decision making method" is propriety, oh, and there are no appeals. I think that their system sucks & is grossly unfair given that the "selling partner" doesn't get a chance to speak or even know that "the process" is underway until the decision is already made. Whatever, I'll save the rest for a a nice long rant on the proper page, because despite my frustration I decided to include them as affiliate for this site b/c they do have a wide array of products & awesome prices so I thought a direct search box would be useful to my audience especially on the music page. But really, for the hell of it, I am going to put one right here !
